CBS has secured the English-language broadcast rights for the UEFA Champions League in the United States until the end of the 2029-30 season. The six-year contract, valued at $1.5 billion, marks a significant yearly increase compared to CBS's previous deal with UEFA. The new contract kicking off from the 2024-25 season will make CBS Sports the home for the Champions League finals in the USA, with games available for streaming on Paramount+ and select matches broadcast on CBS Sports Network and CBS. Paramount+ will serve as the go-to streaming platform for the UEFA Champions League, offering viewers the convenience of streaming live matches and accessing an extensive library of UEFA-related content. On-demand matches will remain available to stream on Paramount+ for some time, allowing subscribers to watch every minute of every game as either direct streams or replays. CBS Sports aims to cater to its diverse audience's preferences and viewing habits by combining linear networks and streaming options. The package includes UEFA Champions League highlights and auxiliary programming. -

CBS Sports has expanded its coverage of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) by adding 22 additional regular season matches to be streamed on Paramount+ and CBS Sports Golazo Network. This extension of coverage is part of an agreement with the NWSL that was established in November 2023. Under this agreement, CBS Sports is set to broadcast up to 12 matches each season on its main network, including several postseason matches and the Championship match, with up to 10 more matches shown on the CBS Sports Network each year. Additionally, CBS Sports is providing extensive NWSL coverage through its dedicated women’s soccer show "ATTACKING THIRD," along with other programs like "MORNING FOOTY," "BOX 2 BOX," and "SCORELINE." These programs are part of CBS Sports' efforts to cover a wide range of aspects of women's soccer, including digital content on CBSSports.com, the Golazo Starting XI newsletter, and social media through the @AttackingThird accounts. The 24-hour soccer channel CBS Sports Golazo Network also supports this coverage. This means that fans in the USA can watch the NWSL live at no additional cost on several platforms, including connected TVs and mobile devices through the CBS Sports App, as well as on Pluto TV, The Roku Channel, LocalNow, and CBSSports.com, in addition to Paramount+. -

The United Soccer League (USL) matches will be broadcast across CBS platforms under a multiyear rights agreement extending through the 2027 season. This includes the airing of 100 matches annually on the CBS Television Network, Paramount+, CBS Sports Network, and the CBS Sports Golazo Network. The Concacaf Nations League is broadcast in English in the United States by CBS Sports under a multi-year media rights partnership. This arrangement entails the provision of more than 200 matches via the streaming platform Paramount+, a service launched by ViacomCBS. The American sports broadcaster has agreed to show live Serie A matches on its subscription streaming service Paramount+ from 2021 through 2024. Linear television networks, including CBS Sports Network, may air some of the games as well. In addition, all 380 Serie A matches have been made accessible on the streaming service Paramount+.

As part of this landmark agreement, CBS Sports owns the exclusive rights to televise all matches of the competition, including the Semifinals and Final. The 2023 U.S. Open Cup matches are live on CBS Sports Golazo Network and Paramount+ in the USA.
