Supersport holds non-exclusive pay-TV broadcast rights to the 2024/25 CAF Champions League season in multiple sub-Saharan African countries. The English-language deal, which features other competitions, including the CAF Women’s Champions League, CAF Confederations Cup and CAF Super Cup, covers only the 2024/25 season and allows live matches, repeat broadcasts and highlights. Subscribers may watch the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League on several linear channels throughout the season, but live streams and on-demand packages remain available on MultiChoice-owned over-the-top (OTT) subscription service DStv. Football fans may watch and replay Champions League games or stream two at once on their mobile phones, Android TV and Apple TV. Supersport’s CAF Champions League broadcast rights extend to the following countries: Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. -

South African-based pay-TV network SuperSport has renewed its media rights agreement for La Liga, covering the seasons from 2020/21 to 2023/24 across sub-Saharan Africa, excluding Arabic and French language broadcasts. This deal maintains SuperSport's offering of Spanish top-flight football, including match highlights and full replays. Subscribers of DStv in the region benefit from access to La Liga's 24/7 English-language channel, LaLigaTV, as part of the package.

SuperSport's multi-platform network has all 64 matches live, along with full match replays, highlights, previews, reports, in-depth analysis, and more. Subscribers may stream the 2022 World Cup on the OTT services managed by DStv and Showmax. -
SuperSport has acquired the English-language Italian Serie A rights for Sub-Saharan Africa. The Multichoice-owned pay-TV operator will show all 380 matches, all of which will be available to DStv and GOtv subscribers. As this is a multi-platform broadcast deal, OTT service DStv Now will additionally stream all the games live online and on its mobile app for Android and iOS tablets and mobile phones. Supersport is expected to enrich its Serie A coverage with news reports, edited highlights, full match replays and more.

The pay-TV broadcaster will show select matches live on television and online through its video streaming service accessible on the web and its official mobile app for Android and iOS. DStv subscribers may also be granted access to SuperSport’s live Europa League streams via OTT platform DStv Now. In addition to live games, match highlights may also be shown regularly by Supersport’s family of channels.
