Digital terrestrial television network Servus TV has secured German-language Austrian rights to the 2022 World Cup following a sublicensing deal with national broadcaster ORF. Servus TV has been granted access to 25 live World Cup matches, whereas ORF retains the rights to the remaining 39. Servus TV is expected to air 19 matches from the group stage, two Round of 16 fixtures, two quarterfinals, one semifinal, and the Third Place match.
