Sky Sports has acquired digital and broadcast rights to Germany’s DFL Super Cup in the UK until 2025 after signing a four-year deal. The annual match will be shown on Sky's family of channels - both linear as well as digital.
Sky Sports has secured digital and broadcast rights to Germany’s Bundesliga in the UK until the end of the 2024/2025 season following a four-year deal. Sky will show matches across its family of channels, both linear and digital, and will broadcast live one premium match of each round on Sky Sports Football channel. Other matches will be shown on other channels, including Sky Sports YouTube.
British pay-television broadcaster Sky Sports has secured an exclusive deal to air the Scottish Premiership in the UK, from 2020 through 2025. Sky Sports will show 48 matches from the Scottish top division every season, in addition to playoffs involving both Premiership and Championship teams. The five-year deal also allows Sky Sports viewers in the UK to enjoy in-game clips and video highlights of every Premiership match. Full coverage is expected to be available to stream live and on demand on OTT platform Sky Go.
Sky Sports has acquired multi-platform EPL broadcast rights in the UK. Though Sky’s package in the 2019/20 season consisted of 128 live Premier League games, their match offering was boosted to 140 games ahead of the 2020/21 season after their coverage was extended by 12 additional fixtures. However, for the 2021/22 season, Sky will have exclusive live coverage of 128 matches. The network will provide coverage matches on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as on Mondays or Fridays. Subscribers in the UK will be able to stream the EPL matches live and on demand using Sky’s OTT service Sky Go, on their mobile devices. NOW is another option for those who don't want to be tied in to a contract and still enjoy daily or monthly streaming options.
Sky owns the rights to the England Men's National Team matches of the UEFA Nations League in the UK as well as all national team matches of Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. The agreement is in place until November 2021 and will involve the first two editions of the Nations League Final Four taking place in June 2019 and June 2021.
The Sky family of channels will bring highlights of every England qualifying match and live away matches, if England play other Home Nations. In addition, all home and away matches involving Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland exclusively live in the UK.
