British pay-TV broadcaster Sky Sports has secured a broadcasting deal with the Premier League, set to commence in the 2025/26 season and extend through to 2028/29. This four-year deal enables Sky Sports to air at least 215 Premier League matches each season, significantly increasing its football coverage. The arrangement includes over 140 weekend matches, evening games on Fridays and Mondays, and full coverage of three midweek match rounds. All 10 Premier League matches on the final day of each season are set to air live for the first time in the broadcaster's English Premier League coverage history. Alongside the live matches, the deal includes comprehensive match highlights and additional shows, previews and reports. Throughout 2025-2029, the Premier League on Sky Sports is expected to be broadcast on television, streamed online, and on mobile apps via Sky's OTT services in the UK.
Sky Sports has secured the rights to broadcast up to 44 Women's Super League (WSL) matches for the 2024/25 season. This arrangement follows a renewal of their initial three-year deal established in 2021. Sky Sports' WSL coverage is available to its subscribers and distributed for live streaming on the NOW platform (OTT), allowing access to these matches beyond traditional cable or satellite services.
